Memories..... whoooaaa, whoaa, memories...

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember--Remember parents, friends, grandparents, and siblings read this (so keep it G-rated!!).

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Let the stories begin......

where have I been?

So, I am not really good at simplifying my life. I am always overscheduled. It seems to be a talent of mine. So, this summer is no different. I was looking for extra summer work - and I found it. So, now I am taking reservation calls for National Rent a Car, as well as my regular job at the treatment center. So, I have been working like 70-80 hours a week. So, it is pretty easy for me to answer where I have been - I have been at work.
Other randomness- so I sleep at wierd hours of the day. I seem to not be able to turn off my phone. So, if you call and it sounds like I am not really with it - its true! For example, tonight I received like 6 phone calls while I was asleep. I am reminded of them when I look through my caller id. I just hope that I do not commit to anything too important in my sleep - answering state.

My Bucket List, a work in progress

So, have you seen the movie, the bucket list? It talks about the list of things that you want to do before you "kick the bucket." I was thinking about this - and oh the possibilities......
1.To have a passport, and actually use it.
2. To make a difference in the life of another - this is a continual process..
3. I want to open my own business. This could be a scrapbooking store, or a cute little cafe.
4. I want to write a novel..... an LDS romance...my favorite!
5. Create my own flavor of ice cream at cold stone.
6. To speak another language.
7. To climb to the top of a mountain.
8. To run a marathon.
9. To fall head over heels, hopelessly in love...
10. To have a record of my geneology.
more to come.....

Another dream has come true...

So, for the last few years of working and going to school, I have found myself wishing for some things: 1. That I did not need to sleep, 2. I do not need to eat and 3. that money really did grow on trees. Well, I have found myself in an interesting situation. I have mentioned that I am on an antidepressant, which has you slowly increase the doses so that your body can adjust to the medication. Now, let me preface this by saying that the bottle says that this medication will cause drowsiness, which made me a little nervous. To my surprise, it does just the opposite for me, because I could not sleep for three days straight! I was not even tired. ( I did get four hours of sleep last night, thank goodness!!)I realized, however, that maybe I really do not want this dream to come true afterall - but I am willing to try the other two!
